Where do you ship from?

All orders are dispatched from the Netherlands.

Are Elystara products suitable for sensitive skin?

Tolerability is a core design constraint across the range, and several products — the Microbiome Acne Serum and the encapsulated Retinol Serum in particular — are formulated specifically with easily irritated skin in mind. If your skin is reactive, introduce one new product at a time and patch test first.

How do I patch test?

Apply a small amount to the inner forearm or behind the ear and leave it for 24 hours. If there is no reaction, you can introduce it into your routine.

Can I use retinol and vitamin C together?

We would not recommend layering them in the same routine. Use vitamin C in the morning and retinol in the evening.

Are your products tested on animals?

No. Animal testing for cosmetics is prohibited in the European Union, and we sell within that framework.

Are they vegan?

Formulations are still being finalised for part of the range. We will confirm the status of each product on its product page before it goes on sale.

How long does a product last once opened?

The period-after-opening symbol on each pack gives the figure for that product.
